I received my first and second degree in Civil Engineering from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology and my doctorate from the University of California in Berkeley. From 1970 until 1997 I taught in the Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Toronto. Most of my research has been on road safety. 

Purpose

On this site I will post a selection of my current work. Some of it is in draft form and I hope to benefit from feedback, comments and criticism. Some of it may be of interest to an audience that is broader than that which is reached by the hard-copy journals.
